Surrey is an attractive and popular film location, which has hosted several major feature films and TV dramas. Take a look below at some of the productions that have filmed in Surrey over the years.
2019 –
Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.
For season 2 (released in 2021), filming took place at various locations across Surrey, including, Chobham Common, Bourne Wood, the woodlands of Milton Gore and Redlands Wood near Dorking.

In the early years of the 20th century, the Kingsman agency is formed to stand against a cabal plotting a war to wipe out millions.

2020 –
Diana (Gal Gadot), the immortal Amazon warrior, must contend with a work colleague and businessman, whose desire for extreme wealth sends the world down a path of destruction, after an ancient artifact that grants wishes goes missing.
The set for the Black Gold Cooperative offices, run by Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) were filmed at the former Legal & General HQ building, in Kingswood, Surrey. The production spent approximately 8 weeks on site.

A teenage sorceress named Nimue encounters a young Arthur on her quest to find a powerful and ancient sword.
A large medieval village set was constructed on Mod land, in Deepcut, near Camberley. The Netflix production spent approximately 40 weeks at the Deepcut site.
Scenes were also filmed at Frensham Little Pond, the cascade waterfall at Virginia Water, and the ruins of Waverley Abbey.

Approximately 7 weeks of filming took place within Surrey for this Channel 4 series, including various commercial and residential locations within Camberley, Guildford, Thames Ditton, Virginia Water, Windlesham, Chertsey and Knaphill.

3 days of filming took place at Loseley Park in Guildford – doubled as Broadlands in Hampshire. Which features a shooting scene on the hill overlooking the House, a dinner party in the Great Hall and Mountbatten on the telephone in the Drawing Room.

Two women, unlucky in love, decide to swap homes with each other over the festive period. Little do they know that they are both about to meet the man of their dreams.
Surrey’s quintessentially English Village of Shere, provided the perfect setting for the home of Kate Winslet’s character, Iris. Her cosy cottage was custom built for the production, located amongst the stunning countryside (sadly this cottage no longer exists, as it was a set specifically built for the film). A scene between Cameron Diaz and Jude Law took place at The White Horse Pub, in Shere Village, and the market town of Godalming can also be spotted in several scenes, including the local village shop scene.
